Hills and Thrills Bike Ride Check back for details on our 2019 ride soon!
Our 2018 Old Hallowell Day Hills and Thrills Bike Ride was a success! We had 23 riders, which is the highest we’ve had in any of our four years. Initial feedback was that people enjoyed the ride, even the challenging hills.
Many thanks to our sponsor (
George Lapointe Consulting), and also a shout out to Mathieu’s Cycle and Fitness for providing everyone with a water bottle. Interesting tidbits: There were 14 new riders, and 9 returned from previous years. The average age was 49 years, with the youngest being 22 and the oldest rider at 73. Also, while many riders were from the area (Hallowell, Augusta, Farmingdale, etc), we did have riders from Bangor, Portland, and mid-coast communities. Thank you to our 2019 Sponsors! Gold Sponsors
